We value your visit to the Kathmandu Mountain Travel and Tours Pvt. Ltd (“KMTT`”, “we”, “our”, “us”) website (collectively, the “Site”). This Site is issued by us purely to support clients gather travel information, verify the availability of travel-related goods and services, make lawful reservations or otherwise carry out business with travel service providers. Use of the Site is regulated by the Terms & Conditions stated as follows. This is whether the site is used to evaluate information or to book travel reservations (online or via our call center), or for any other reason. Further, you concur to these Terms & Conditions and agree they determine any reservations made with us for travels. Failure to agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, will lead to forfeiture of the privilege to access the Site or use it for travel reservations. These Terms & Conditions are subject to changes without any prior warning and at any time. All amendments to the terms take effect immediately they are updated. Your continued access of the Site after the amendments denotes your acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions. Please revert to this page for time to time to be appraised with any updates.

1. Product:

Kathmandu Mountain Travel and Tours provides service based an agreed Itineraries (Tour) to clients.

2. Contract:

By booking a tour, client and any person on behalf of whom client makes payment agree that these terms and conditions shall form part of legal contract with KMTT Pvt.Ltd. This contract shall be construed according to the law of Nepal and all parties agree that any dispute so arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.

3. Confirmed Bookings:

KMTT Pvt.Ltd will agree tour content with the client and issue an itinerary and invoice. The invoice may contain specific terms and condition different to those expressed on this web page. In case of any discrepancy, the parties agree that the terms and conditions on the invoice shall take precedence. Booking can only be confirmed when 100 % of the invoice valued is received by KMTT Pvt.Ltd. Hotels and any transport and /or tickets are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. The start date of the tour shall be the reference point for the payment and refunds.

4. Payment Schedule:

In order to grantee a booking client must pay the full invoice value 60 days before start date of the tour. During High season and other peak periods Kmtt Pvt.ltd may vary this period by stating so specifically on the invoice.

5. Cancellation & Refund policy:

Client may cancel the tour by informing KMTT PVt.LTD at info@kmttnepal.com.

Cancellation will be deemed effective only when kmtt receives such communication. Kmtt will send client an acknowledgement of cancellation.

Refunds will be credited exclusively to the credit card accounts or concerned bank from which payment was made originally and can take up to 30 days to process.

Clients accepts the following scale for refunds based on the effective cancellation date:

More than 90 days before Tour start date: Full Refund

61-90 days before Tour start date: full refund less a discretionary 5% administration fee

45-60 days before Tour start date: 60% refund

Less than 45 days before Tour start date: No refund.

6. Complaint procedure:

In the unlikely event that any part of the Tour fails to meet agreed standards, client should inform the Kmtt representative immediately so that remedial action may be taken. Client should obtain an acknowledgment of such a notification.

Kmtt will make all reasonable efforts to rectify such short comings. In the event that client is dissatisfied with such rectification, client should inform Kmtt in writing before the end of tour. KMTT cannot entertain any complaints that have not been notified promptly.

8. Privacy Policy:

Client agrees that KMTT may store their personal information including but not limited to: Name, Address, Age, and Gender, Profession, passport Number and Phone Number. KMTT shall use such information only in relation to travel arrangements made on behalf of client. Client agrees that KMTT may communicate such information to suppliers when related to such travel arrangements.

KMTT may communicate personal information if so required by legal obligation under the law of Nepal.

KMTT shall use reasonable commercial efforts to ensure that such personal information is stored confidentially. On completion of the tour, Client may in writing request KMTT to delete any such information.

9. Insurances

Client shall purchase adequate travel insurance with coverage including but not limited to: injury, medical expenses, delayed or missed flights, lost baggage and lost documents.

10. Secure Payment:

KMTT secure server for the payment will record and store personal details including: Name, Address, Telephone Number and Email address. Such information is stored purely to verify and support financial transaction and will not be used for any other purpose.

This payment form hosted by Kathmandu mountain travel and tours requires the input of sensitive information and therefore utilize a security socket layer(SSL) protocol, which provides a secure environment for individuals to transmit information to the kmtt server. This information is encrypted during transmission, and in doing so, prevent unauthorized persons access to it.All information collected by the KMTT website is stored on a secure server owned by KMTT Pvt.Ltd. This prevents personal information from being accessed by unauthorized persons.

11. Variation of term and condition:

Kathmandu Mountain Travel and Tours Pvt. Ltd reserve the right to vary these terms and condition at any time without giving notice. The client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions prevailing on the date of booking.
